The Scenario Data is optional and not required for conformance testing. The purpose of Scenario Data is to assist the Certification Agent in developing the RepSOM for the FUT. It is recognized that developing a scenario which satisfies the requirements of the Test Sequence can be both labor intensive and costly for some federates. It is not the intent of the RepSOM test to add cost and complexity to conformance testing. Therefore a federate can submit existing Scenario Data in its Conformance Notebook to aid the Certification Agent in developing a RepSOM test that meets the objectives of the conformance tests. Scenario data is submitted as an OMT DIF file containing the elements of the federate SOM that are included in the scenario. The easiest way to create a scenario file is to use the OMDT to edit the federate's SOM, deleting any object or interaction classes, attributes or parameters, that are NOT included in the proposed test scenario. Also please edit the ID table to indicate that the file is intended as a RepSOM for the federate under test. Then save the file as a ".omt" file in OMT DIF. Note that when the Federation Execution Planners Workbook editing tool becomes available, scenario data will be submitted as a test Workkbook in a FEPW DIF file.
